I am entering the Netherlands from a non-EU country

If you are entering the Netherlands from a non-EU country (a country which is not a member of the European Union) you may bring in the following goods without having to pay tax:

If you enter the EU over land or by private pleasure boat by sea or pleasure aviation, from a non-EU country (a country that is not a member of the European Union)? Then you may bring in goods bought outside the EU up to a value of € 300 without having to pay taxes upon import.

If you bring goods into the Netherlands which you bought free of tax at the airport or on board the ferry the same rules will apply as to goods which you bought in a non-EU country.

Travellers in private pleasure boats by sea and pleasure aviation can only bring in other goods for a maximum of € 300.
