The Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) has been introduced after Regulation (EU) nr. 648/2005 of the Community Customs Code (on this website only available in Dutch) has been amended. Regulation 648/2005 provides the framework for AEO; the details are set out in Regulation (EU) nr. 1875/2006 (on this website only available in Dutch).
