The declaration procedure
Customs distinguishes various ways in which declarations can be made:
- the electronic declaration, with the possibility of simplified procedures
- the written declaration, with the possibility of simplified procedures
- the verbal declaration
- the declaration by a different act
Customs prefers electronic declarations and simplified procedures. Moreover, these may offer you a number of facilities for your logistic processes and the services to your customers.
