Deployment Window Application

Is your company a road or rail carrier with a Dutch EORI number and do you enter goods into the EU? Then you must request a deployment window. Do this as quickly as possible. In your request, indicate when you expect to join the ICS2.

This page explains how to request a deployment window.

Deferment

You can only request a deferment for goods entering the Union through an EU member state other than the Netherlands. It is no longer possible to request a deployment window for goods entering the Union through the Netherlands. How do you request a deployment window?

To request a deployment window, please answer the following questions and email them to nhd.apeldoorn@douane.nl:

  1. What is your EORI number? And in which member state is your EORI number registered?
  2. Do you wish to use a different EORI number for submitting the ENS? If yes, what is the EORI number? For more information on applying for a new EORI number, please visit the Economic Operators Registration and Identification number page(opent nieuw venster) on the European Commission website.
  3. What is the name of your company?
  4. Who is the contact person within your company?
  5. What is the email address of the contact person within your company?
  6. What is your company's role in ICS2? Is your company a maritime house filer, road or rail carrier?
  7. Do you make use of the services of an IT service provider to submit an ENS? If yes, which IT service provider?
  8. From which date do you anticipate connecting to ICS2?
  9. For what period are you requesting the deployment window?

Reply

We will reply to your request by email. If we grant your request, it is valid in all Union member states from that moment, except for the Netherlands.
