What are personal belongings?

Personal belongings include everything that is intended for personal use by you or your household.

Goods meant for business use as a manufacturer, retailer, or service provider do not count as personal belongings.

Which items are not allowed into the Netherlands?

Not everything can be moved to the Netherlands. Restricted or prohibited items include excise goods, vehicles, pets, fake goods, protected species, animal products, weapons, drugs and cultural goods.
